I plan to build a couple ~4cf sealed subs, each with one Dayton HO 18 driver. I just purchased an ep4000 to drive both of them. Now I see I can get an inuke3000 DSP for about $20 more. I already own an 1124 BFD that I can pull from my existing subs (empire and legend) and use for the DIY ones.

Wouldn't mind keeping the 1124 for the epik subs but XT32 is doing a pretty good job by itself so I can probably get by without it.

Considering the above, is there any benefit to getting the inuke instead of the ep4000? I'd have to return the ep4000 and might have to pay return shipping if I'm unable to refuse the delivery. Wondering if it's worth the trouble.

You probably wouldn't gain anything.

i'd take an ep4000 over an inuke3000 any day of the week. If it were the nu6000dsp that would be a different story.

From what I've read, they seem pretty close in terms of actual power but someone said the inuke fan is a little quieter and of course it has the built-in DSP. Guess I'll stick with the ep4000 though.

IMO Since your doing sealed, the ep4k is the way to go. The inukes are high passed at 10Hz. The ep4k at 5.
