Hello

I bought two eminence gamma woofers a year ago, and I would like to put them to work ASAP. The plan initialy was to build two La Scalas Bass bins for them, but I was not happy with the sound.....ned something else..

So has anyone used this woofer? Any input is welcomed. I need some HE speakers for my tube amps.

The Gamma 15 specs out pretty good in a LaScala, so it if it didn't sound good I don't think the driver was at fault. It only has 3mm xmax, so it won't knock walls down, but I don't see that as a problem with a tube amp.

The midrange sound to "horny". And i would like some more bottom end(la scala BR mod maybe).
I would build the la scala bin with the bass reflex mod, but the 3mm of excursions scares me a little. Is it enough?
PS: the amps are 6c33c SET ~15w

The woofer only goes to 400Hz, so it won't affect how the mids sound, and 15w won't move the cone more than 1mm.
