itll be easier for me to lay the one on the right down and rotate the one on the left, which should accomplish the same thing

I don't know if that would work. How big is the board? Looks pretty compact.

This was my suggestion, excuse the horrible drawing...

If I understood you correctly, this is what you wanted to do? You can see how the two inductors on the left would interfere.

You should probably get a second opinion on this.

Why not just move the right inductor up a little bit and rotate the middle inductor to a 45 degree angle?

I've read what they say about coverage but 1st hand accounts are best.

Did you put any primer on beforehand?
Is so, was it dark or light?

What does the can say about shelf life?

The inductor on the far right would interfere with the one in the center. I would try moving the inductor on the far right up higher. Another option is to rotate the inductor on the far right 90 degrees. Measure the center of the inductor on the far right to the inductor on the far left. I've seen some people recommend at least 2-4 inches between inductors.

Looks great, Adam! I've got a new entertainment center on my list but will probably be a few months behind once I get the new AT screen and false wall done. Great job!

Thanks, it came out better then i expected. and larger. but everything fits, however once i get the rears up and start messing with the EQ i have the feeling ill be moving one of the subs to right behind the couch for more impact

of i could just build another one, obviously i have space for more amps biggrin.gif

This is what it looks like with the TV up. Just tossed it up there for a pic really fast as im supposed to wait 36 more hours until i put weight on the top :/

reason perspective looks funny is because of the 11mm lens

ive done just that. they measure 2.5-2.75 between the centers, one on the right has been rotated and is up as high as it will go

So got everything setback up today. moved the giant Ethernet cord mess off the floor, drilled a hole in the wall to pass 1 cord through and got all the others arranged under the rug and behind the TV stand, 8 things wired into a 8 port GigE switch into a wireless router.

wired up the rears and ran YPAO after an extreamly long Firmware update on the RX-A3000

and this is what i end up with, Mains crossed at 80Hz, Rears at 160, all Levels set to 0, distances match what i measure with a tape +/- a few inches

your response is not bad at all. a little absorption on some of those surfaces may help smooth things out a bit.

Yea im not sure which one ill build yet, the Big Mal got taken down because of driver availability. It was running the SEOS 12 + 4 6" drivers under it. However Erich said he was working on a replacment. Also someone mentioned a MTM design based on the fusion 8 was in the works. So ill wait and see

Speaking of the Fusion 8s, i sanded down mine today and filled some areas with wood putty. they will get another sanding this week and ill start finishing them

They are going to be stained like the TV stand was - same color/gloss and the front will be done with duratex

Today it was finally warm enough outside to spray paint so i finished the speaker grills for the subs

Fusions should be up and running tomorrow. Poly Coats should be done today. Just have to duratex the front baffle and then install
