I will now be adding 2 more 1260w to my room. I am switching from the lt200 amps and will run all 4 boxes off of a epx2000. I will try to post progress for those interested in a very affordable diy build. Should be just over $450.00 invested after all is said and done.

If I could please ask what do you guys think of these charts? Do you think they look accurate? For some reason I cannot get the sensitivity to fill in as the 93 the infinity chat says. It only will come up as 86.47.. I would be running the bigger boxes in the front of my room and the small in the back. Wa h bow will be powered by a lt200. 200w rms. 4 boxes total in my 14-22.5-8 room. I would love to hear how you all feel about this and how the smaller boxes would do with the fronts. Haven't run the numbers, and only glanced at datasheet, so take following with grain of salt. Though I've run plenty of similar sims.
Just looking at their 31Hz(ish) vented graphs vs. yours, thinking you might not have enough linear excursion to quite make the low-end SPL. Not necessarily end of the world, though, as it might just mean some quiet compression, so long as mechanical stops aren't hit.
Can say with some certainty you won't get the 93dB/2.83V sensitivity number anywhere if tuning like you propose to. They get it only with a 31Hz vent combined with a 44Hz box tuning. Pretty close tunings compared to what you're trying to do, so port and driver are summing for a relatively peaky, sensitive response. Away from the low port tuning, yours is more like large sealed. If you look at their smaller sealed, it's 90dB, but then it's a high-Q tuning, so the peaky response gives higher sensitivity. 86dB/2.83V is about ballpark, maybe optimistic at that, for a 4ohm 12" at LF without resonant assistance. Physics...
The Infinity 93db spec is likely based on cabin gain in a car, it is an 86db driver like its specs indicate it should be. Either one of those cabinets will work fine with 200 watts. Your models dont include a HPF, which the amp will have built in (not sure what the frequency of that is, usually 20hz), but the larger cab will not have the peak at the bottom of its response. The best thing I could see about building a larger cabinet is using larger ports then you need now, and leaving open the future option of swapping in a 15" driver and a more powerful amp
Thanks. I would have to do a little digging but I believe it a 12 db at 18. Not sure if that's correct. That is why I can't tune much lower but was thinking in the 18 range and then with some room gain I might get a little lower. Also the port or ports would get too long for the box. But I think I will prob do slot ports if that will help. Like I was saying my room picks up quite abit below 25hz now with just the a2300. My out put I stronger at 18 than it is at around 25. Well I am going to order 2 of these 1260w on Monday. I really wanted to have all 4 boxes tuned the same but the demisions the rears will have to be won't allow for the longer port. I am now thinking a single 4 inch faired for each box. The flow gets kinda high but after I add the hpf it seems to bee a lot better. So I'm thinking about all at 4 cube. But the fronts tuned a little lower. I am only building the fronts until I can sell my old little sub. Then I will build those. I will probably throw my a2300 in one of the back corners for now so that would give me an idea of what to expect if the back ones are tuned a little higher. Also I can't remember how much room the port needs. Any suggestions are appreciated I really want these to blow away my current sub.
Would anyone have an idea of how much space I should account for this driver? I was thinking around .30 for the amp and driver but that was just a guess. Thanks
Well Im not sure if anyone cares but I just got the infinty 1260w. I cant believe these only cost $53. Its pretty impressive. I hope they sound as good as they look. I will be building these this weekend and should be posting my thoughts sometime next week.
I'm listening to a pair of 1262w right now, for the price they can't be beaten. I'm running them 2ohm, 550w each and they're rock solid. Not a huge amount below 30hz, but I expected that in a pair of small sealed cabinets. WAF is high...
Ha I know. I must admit that they are not as pretty as most on here. But they will be behind my screen wall so I'm more worried about performance than looks . I'm not going to sand them all out perfect on the outside. Just gonna throw some paint so they are not bare.

Ok so I got a little more internal volume then I thought. And they are now complete. Will be putting in the driver and amp tomorrow night.
