Hi guys. I have a bonus room with a smaller crawl space attached to it for storage. The crawl space is 30' wide with a sloping ceiling that goes from 2' to 5'. Onto the question....

I've seen some guys do IB manifolds with the woofers firing into a column that feeds the room. Can I do something similar except with the woofers sealed?

My logic is if it'll work, it'll be a nice way to tuck a bunch of subs way out of view. I could add 2 up front and then have a nice setup that doesn't take up much room but goes very deep.

Anyone ever do anything close to this? If I don't do this type of deal, I'll at least try to go to some horns that are hidden out of the room.

You could but why bother building a small sealed box when you can just use the crawl space as your box for an infinite baffle setup?

here's a question for you guys. If I did do a manifold and went IB, would the I need to replace the "cabinet style" doors with something more sturdy that latches and separates the bonus room from the storage better? Right now the doors don't latch and have the cheapest doors possible on there. The doors are about 24" by 48" and there's 2 of them. Thanks!

just spent the afternoon reading up on the cult website. Great info. Im now understanding how they work better. I'm very tempted to give this a try with 2 or 4 of the fi ib subs. I think I'll be okay with 2 18's, but the $80 discount off 4 is tempting...

Make a thread @ the cult, ask there.
Having the basics like room size/layout/restrictions will help.
