All,

I'm wrapping up a long 6.5 cu. ft. dual ported Shiva X build (design image here) - BUT I need an amp.

I spent lots of time searching, etc. and Option 1 seemed like the iNuke 3000DSP is a great choice because of the built in DSP. My sub. should end up being tuned to about 20Hz or 21Hz, so it seems this would fit the bill. At $300, it seemed like I couldn't beat this.

Option 2 might be to go with a regular amp, and then add a MiniDSP. But I wasn't sure if there was a huge advantage to this? I know the MiniDSP is a lot more flexible, but what would I pair it with if I went this route? And where would that put me in terms of price & performance compared to the iNuke?

Just wanted to run this by some people before pulling the trigger. Thanks in advance for help/opinions!

I've had good luck with my iNuke 3000DSP so far. Plenty of power for my needs (my sub is capable of FAR more than my mains are).

If you can find them for $300, I'm sure others here would love it if you shared the link....
