Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for a new driver for an Elemental Designs A5-350? I've heard of them being modified to accept a 15" driver, but if there's an option that could just be dropped in, that would be fantastic. I'd also like to maximize sound quality and reliability for $250 or less if possible.

Modified didn't the a5-350 come with a 15" in it? I believe it was the 16Ov.2. I was gong to suggest the SI 15 D2 but it looks like it may be just a hair too big. Otherwise it would be in your price range at $170 and probably be a better driver than the ED.

You might consider the Dayton Ultimax also, it is $170 also and is real close in size to the 16Ov.2.

No problem. If you find one you like, I would download Winisd and model it with your box perimeters to see if it will work.
