Post 6 kinda shows my progress for manually EQing the mains, pretty refined after only a couple small tweaks. I kind of built this thread to come and post all my measurements to make them easier for me to find, but it has also turned into a pretty informative thread at this point. Glad you are enjoying

MAD impressed here! These are all the sweeps I ran from the MLP for the LCR, and surrounds. I LOVE it. Even though personal listening impressions makes the the system, I liked the result I just found. Didn't really expect that much from the surrounds, but, I will certainly take it after all the work it took to get everything to this point and the fantastic work from zilch and @mtg90 . @RMK! I will leave this off the JTR thread as it has nothing to do with it at this point but after your experience with the 60f's, I wanted you to see this too

Good stuff Brandon, I just found this thread. Congrats on basically an ideal setup! The fact that the db level is loudest where you want it (your seat) and all other seats have a similar response is exactly what I would want.

I am real similar to you when it comes to the L and R. The frequency response is awesome at the main LP and decently similar in all seats. However, the center and surrounds are not close and of course that matters more since I don't set here with a room full of people for 2 channel music (unless it's avs friends) so I've got a long way to go for movies.

Thanks guys. Yea the 2 channel times are always just me. The wife doesn't understand how I can just sit there and listen to music, and that's it. Haha, it is one of my favorite things in life honestly

Beast, since when did you become a best-seller writer. I can't put this down, man, and I can't even read that well. I dig the passion with calling people out. Keep it up. You've just bumped my favorite poster. Your numero uno.

Thanks man I will have a bunch of fun new stuff to add once I get the Dirac unit in the chain. I haven;t added any new sweeps lately here as not much has changed, but all that should get shaken up with a new unit in the mix I am really hoping I like what I hear.

How is your system laid out, 3 fronts, 4 surrounds and 4 heights? I took some measurements of the mains after my recent baffle wall remodel but I have more roll off on top than it sounds like. Do you point your mic up and leave it or on axis with each speaker for each measurement. Maybe I'll try hanging a plumb bob to keep the mic placement consistent as I align with each speaker. I'm really focusing on getting each speaker as close to the anechoic without any eq then smoothing from there. I know it makes a markable improvement in sound to do this but it's extremely time consuming. The Dirac sounds like the One but Ive heard some negative feedback as well and wonder. Maybe the user is just asking to much of it.

Yep, I have the mic at the MLP, and then test around the room as well after any changes I make. Some of the last pics I've posted in here was of other areas other than the MLP.
