There. How's that for some added craziness?

Best,
Mark

This is insanity! I paid full price at around $700 each (including shipping). They are definitely worth it at $700, but at less than $500 shipped, that is just crazy!

For those on the fence, jump on this deal!!

I think it's time for MK to try out some new drivers...

Yeah, I can't even justify the need and I still want 2 at this price.

If I had the money I would do it for sure. Unfortunately, money is tight, and I've already invested a lot of time/money into a box for a UXL. I can't justify scrapping the box that I built, and can't afford a UXL AND a FTW-21.

When is the remainder of the price plus shipping charged? Once they have shipped or before?

Parts will be ordered next week. I estimate (best guess) 6-8 weeks before we receive them. Then about a week for assembly and testing.

Once they are ready to ship, the balance will be requested.

Best,
Mark

I am having a hard time stopping myself from getting these. My bass is the best ever and changing would just be a lateral move. I mean what more can I expect? I am flat to 4hz and can reach reference with under 2% THD. There is no where to go.

AVR-Yamaha A830
amps-5 Adcom 555 in 850 watt monoblock mode
sub amp-Sanway FP14K
LCR-Dual stacked BFM DR-250's
Surrounds- Dual stacked BFM W10's
subs-12 SI 18's ported 6hz.

How or where would the improvement be?

I am probably flatter to even lower but my mic rolls off lower than 5hz anyways. So I have the full band covered and can play any movie with the bass 10 dBs hot with no problems. I would never go louder than that so getting more displacement would do nothing for me. Seeing big 21s would be cool.

Hard to think of something that can surpass this below 35-45Hz for the total cabinet volume of something like a 24-26" cube (and at this price). I'm in for 4.

Anyone know the Le on these? These are some incredible speakers for the price, and if the Le is below .4mH/ohm for this magnitude of woofer, then talk about winning!
Yes I'm an Le and Cms snob.

*edit*
Ohh, a pair of these in some LLT's look rather impressive! I have a handful of unused subs I'd have to sell off though to offset the cost. Crap, I'd also have to buy another CE4000 for the second sub. (one per sub). Meh, sounds too expensive now.

Well, 8 at the preorder price. Just too good of a price to pass up. Will probably go for 4 at retail.
