Well, given Pyle's rep in car audio... I wouldn't be suprised if the RMS was closer to 100wpc.

For $259 I think I might give it a go just to do it. Wish I had the ability to bench the amp. Alas, my technical ability is no where near that level. Seriously doubt this guy would need it's own 20a line, but I have an extra one just in case.

Would be cool to include this guy in Carp's upcoming GTG to stack up against the normal offerings. I have my doubts given Pyle's reputation but blind test results will certainly weight more heavily than my own opinion. tongue.gif

I believe that Behringers line of iNuke amps are some of the best value to performance ratio that you can possibly get.
I mean, with the iNuke1000Dsp you can get a decent amount of power, plus the ability to EQ both channels, and have
the option to run actively, all for under $300.00! To me, that is a bargin! Does anyone know of a cheaper amp with those
capabilities and wattage available?

I've had an XLS 2500 on my RTi12's close to a year now, great amp with tons of power.

I am about to buy 2 XLS1500's for the center and surround channels.  smile.gif

Holly smokes, you are right! Is that Pyle amp legit? I have never really heard any bad things about Pyle. I know that their car audio stuff is
ok, but generally seen as the cheaper end mid-fi stuff. I might have to order this Pyle amp and give it a try! Has anyone ordered one yet?
Is that Pyle a receiver or a regular power amp? It says in the specs on the AVS page that it is a receiver, not sure....?

I am guessing that it is 80 to 100 watts per channel RMS. Looks like a good low cost option for distributed audio in the home.
