Hi there im new to the forum. I have been making speakers and tinkering for a few years and really enjoy making my speakers with my own two hands. I am looking for some advice on speaker loudness. I would like to make a speaker set which will give me the maximum volume output from my amp. My amp is a two channel 1600watts system. I currently have speaker im using for parties but I want to go louder and better bass handling. At the moment it is basically car speakers all thrown in giving an rms of around 500 watts but I would like to go for something bigger. Could anyone offer some advice on what i could do to get the most out of my amp. I do like to use car speakers and woofers because im not interested in clarity for these projects just pure bass and loudness and they tend to get banged up a bit. thanks

Also I am interested in just getting an idea of what I should be looking to do. So besides budget limitations I would like to know the optimum components and why for my amp system.
