I received in error a definitive technology prosub 1000 amplifier plate but it's for asian 220/240 voltage. I see I can get a step up transformer relatively cheap and was wondering how large of a transformer I would need for this amp? Is 500w enough?

Why not just exchange it for a standard US voltage? I would imagine that both Bajawaverunner, and Definitive have them in stock.

It was supposed to be the new high level amp for my Def tech Supercube I and I received it in error, Def tech doesn't want it back so I figured I'd make a diy sub with it. It runs off of the Europe/Asia 220/240. Its part # DMAC.
