Got a new MFW today. The frame was bent so I took a rubber mallet to the edge and straightened the frame as much as I could. I plugged it in and heard the voice coil rubbing. Pressing the cone on the side where it was bent - it seizes. Pressing in the middle of the cone produces a rubbing sound, and pressing on the opposite side of the bent frame is *almost* free.

What do I do next before I put a claim through UPS (or find out if I even can lol)?

Make a claim. It sounds like it's toast!

Men are allowed a single tear in the event of the unfortunate demise of ones property. Wait I kept reading on and it does state that the tear must be cause by perspiration near the tear duct, also known as eye sweat.
