Please help. I have had my 6 si 18 flat packs done for like 2 months and have been waiting for my cv5000 that I ordered from musicians friend. It appears that this thing is like endless back order. What other amps would work?
Thanks

Peavey IPR7500 should work and might be easier to get your hands on

PE has them in stock

I got the 4ohm. Yes the backorder is killing me. They keep extending the date further and further. I'm gonna call them and ask for a refund.

I also waited about a month for the CV from guitar center before I cancelled. I wound up with the Peaveys and haven't looked back. Grab them while they are in stock.

Thanks for the help! Got the peavey ordered.
Can anyone recommend the correct connectors for this? I have a minidsp new in the box and this is my first time messing with pro amps.
Thanks for any help.

Did you get the balanced MiniDsp? If so, I would recommend going RCA to XLR from your AVR into the MiniDsp, then balanced XLR to your amp from the MiniDsp, not sure about the speaker connections on the output side of the amp.

I have the minidsp balanced. How would you use the xlr to RCA? There are only Phoenix on the minidsp?
Thanks

phoenix can be connect with XLR, you have to splice the wire

So let me be sure I'm right here.
My umc200 has a xlr sub out so that would go xlr to Phoenix on one input of the minidsp..than
I have that, but how do I hook up to the amp from the dsp. I understand that it would be Phoenix to xlr, but how many outs of the 4 available would i use? The amp is 2 channel and I will be splitting 3 subs per channel. So would I use just 2 outputs on the mini? One to each channel of the amp? So I would not eq the subs
Independently, but could eq each set of 3 independently??
Sorry for the ignorance. I have spent time reading and still don't get it.
Thanks again for the help.

if you're eq'ing each 3 subs separately, then do phoenix to xlr twice to your amplifier. If you are eqing all 6 subs together, then you can just run 1 cable and run it in parallel mode.

Thanks. That was what I was thinking, but is there any benefit to Eqing them in 2 pairs of 3?
At this point they will all be on the front wall and if I change that it would probably be just to move two to the rear and 4 at the front.
Thanks again!unene9eg.jpg

yes I would eq them in two pairs of three. you will get a flatter response and all it costs is 1 extra cable.
