I have a pair of ae12s not open since last year, I was wonder if I can use it in an seos 12s with 12x xo?

Possibly not as they have a different Re rating. I believe that would require some modifications to the crossover because of that.

The only other difference would be that the S likes larger enclosures so you would want to make a different cab from the 12x thread.

you may wish to measure the frequency response first. apparently there was an issue with the 's' a while back, but it may have been an isolated case (or not).
