Yeah I'm trying really hard to overhype the plight of moving these subs.

Today while running test tones I managed to pop a brace lose inside one of the horns... I think I know which one because it was suspect from the start.. Not looking forward to cutting it open to repair

I haven't taken the time to fix my second wrecker, I've been enjoying my other one too much!

I haven't started on my second one for the same reason, well that and not having a finished room. Effortless and authoritative are the two best words I've come up with to describe it so far.

Sorry to hear about the broken brace. Cutting away a (presumably) PL'd down panel sounds like a nightmare.

I honestly was considering putting a pallet under my lilwrecker and moving it with my forklift. However, it slid easily into the back of a pickup and was easier to move around on a dolly than a fridge. I pity anyone taking it down a flight of stairs though!

These are deceptively effortless. I was watching Attack of the Clones last night, I was spiking to 118db at my seated position, but It didn't seem THAT loud.... My pant legs were flapping and my ottoman was levitating... Very tactile... All with 600 watts.

I'm not sure if its my room curve or what, but this was a legitimate upgrade from the f20.

Yeah.. I'm dreading tracking down that panel. frown.gif

dont worry about cutting unless its way internal. if it can be reaached from the outside just drive a TON of 3 to 4 inch screws once you find the brace position with exploratory holes.

I am actually pretty sure it's one of my little cross braces, each of the main panels has a dozen 2" screws in them...

I love my lilwrecker. I'd consider building another but I don't currently have a house big enough for 2 of them.

I guess today is a good day to cut some holes and figure where that rattle is coming from.... My cat got himself stuck and I had to cut him out.

My two cats don't care about ANYTHING on this planet..... Except subwoofers. They are fascinated.

Oh man.... That sucks.

I've caught my cats in mine several times, but they've never been stuck like that.

Maybe time to think up a grille design. I was thinking of using some rectangular wire fencing or something, but never got around to it.

Because I am selling these I'm going to add a few photos to this thread as a reference for potential buyers.

Here's the scars from the cat harvest. Used PL and replaced the pieces I cut out. They will be easily hidden if the enclosure is painted. I also found the brace that was loose, I simply forgot to glue one side of it. Durr.

Here they are in-room. That's a 65" TV, and those are mains with 15" drivers, to give you San idea of scale.

One mouth is painted because that was suppose to be the only part visible once attic mounted. I found out there was a large null in the only place I could install them before I had a chance to paint the second one. :/

You probably just need to EQ them separately to make them work in your desired position. It is a tall order to throw them in the corners and expect the unequalized response to be ideal at the LP.
Did you try adjusting the phase independently?

They were going into my attic originally. There is only one possible place to put the pair. After doing a subwoofer "crawl" with my mic, the results were unacceptable at half my listening positions.

Their current placement is fantastic!

Yes, it looks like they basically coupled in their current location.

Sweet subs! Noticed you live in Bakersfield, I grew up in Shafter. If I had room in my house I would take them off your hands.
