Hello everyone.

I feel like i am beating a dead horse. I am pretty set on ordering the parts express knock down kits.

1. Should I go with the Ultimax or the RSS390? I iwll be buying two of these.
2. Will the Inuke 1000 be adequate to power the two subs. If not how much performance would I get out of them.

Thanks,

Eric

Good choices to start with. They are both very close in overall capability with only some bit of an edge going to one or another depending on your requirements/expectations.

One notable difference here, if you're going with the PE boxes is that the one for the 18" will obviously be a bit larger. That enough could be the deciding factor for you or someone else. I have no idea. We need more details from you.

Skip the inuke1k. Don't use it for subwoofer duty. Go straight to the 3k or 6k.

Thanks for the heads up.

Two kits I am contemplating

Ultimax @ $ 262 ea\

http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=300-7097

RSS390 @ $234

http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=300-7093

I will be purchasing two. Is the ultimax worth the extra 56 bucks?

I will get the Inuke 3000.

Thanks.

Ordered the RSS390 Kit.

Got the INuke NU3000DSP for 235 shipped no Tax from Ebay. I think that's a pretty good buy. Will make a build thread shortly as I plan on making this down firing so I can use it as an end table.

Did you order just one 18" kit for now or two?
