It's been a long time coming and they are nearly here.

Looking back at all the gear hoarding and then building...

So what does this thread mean? Well for one, it means for real this time. The build thread will come very soon. Maybe in a coming days or weeks. Possibly sooner. Maybe some time this week. Maybe tomorrow! tongue.gif

If you have any general questions or comments about these new mains and new subwoofers you can leave them here. I am thinking of making a small FAQ for the full thread so your comments and questions could be useful for shaping that up. Also if I have bought something from you that I am using in this go ahead and let me know. I've been piecing this together for a few years so I don't want to forget anybody. redface.gif

Thanks and enjoy!

HOLY SHTTTTTT!!!!!
Scott, I'm really excited to see how things turn out! I followed your LLT build way back when and you've hinted here and there about what was to come, but now it's getting real! Nice job staying patient and working it out as you could. You've said before how much time it can take you to save and collect, kudos for working steady! biggrin.gif

Ya, what eminence woofer is that? What kind of enclosure is it in? And is it hooked up to that mid horn somehow? Tell us about that.

Cool!

Now... time to build another 4 quad surrounds, I'm I right? tongue.gif

Scott you have somewhere between 26 to 28kW there, if I counted it correctly.
Big-Iron Class-A/B/H too, so it likely does a solid 18kW RMS, with another 10kW burst power in the capacitors from an idle-start.

Yep! It's a triple set of Wayne's midhorn system. He uses them in cornerhorn speakers and sells the midhorn as a flatpack. Very cool component and one that I think should get more attention. The driver is indeed the Eminence Delta10a.
