No..............just about a month.

What I know now.........................I would have held on to my S2 and just bought drivers for my back.  But nooooooooooo....................I have to over think things and change out completely.

Oh well, when I have my four in hand, tuned..........working........................I might be singing a different tune.  BTW, does my impulsiveness and demanding nature come through text?  :D

I have, but I requested invoice due to paying in full upfront.  I suspect if pattern holds true................I'll be seeing my remaining drivers come in one or two week intervals.............:(

For me though, I have bigger fish to fry.  My motherboard for projector is stationary due to UPS train falling apart!  Evidently, my upgrade package has been in Illinois for 4 days now with no end in sight!

Sony has until March 28th to get upgrade done and I'm worried my kit won't show up by then.............then  what?  Drivers are the least of my worries!  I've been beaten with a big stick since November..........but I still have my good looks!  :D

Well, fellas...the new Crest Pro-LITE 7.5 and 5.0 amp is super...and my four Dayton 460HOs are rockin'!

I am receiving ridiculously great feedback from a couple of people running the Crest 7.5s and I am running a pair of 5.0s myself.

If you know the specifics about these two amps (Peavey IPR2 7500 and Crest ProLITE 7.5), you know they are supposedly "sister" amps, but according to the lead amp engineer who designed them, there are noteworthy inequities in favor of the Crest. Not that the IPR2 is bad, just that the 7.5 is definitely superior. The Crest Pro-LITE gets better/larger caps on the secondary side of the supply. Total capacitance and energy storage difference is significant. In all cases, the Pro-LITE choice of caps assumes money is no object. Not so for the IPR2.

Pro-LITEs get an expensive magnetic/hydraulic circuit breaker on the front panel.
Pro-LITEs get Neutrik input and output connectors. IPRs get Chinese clones.

All of the above added Crest performance features cost a little more, of course.
