Got it done!! Wow! Loving it but now can't decide if I should dive into the mic to calibrate it. I do have some sections way louder than others and have figured out how to change up things but have not gone through test tones yet as I don't have a DB meter. Is a good DB meter close to the price of a mic to calibrate?
Looks awesome
For short term fix you can use your cell phone as a spl meter. Not terribly accurate (there are apps ) but will help. Measure 20,30,40 hz tones and eq. Long term you want a good spl meter , or mic to measure . The umik 1 is a good measuring mic and there are lots of spl meters out their.
I went to order another si18 d4 to match for when I have the room and they are sold out. I also saw some posts saying they may not be making anymore!?! Any one know the truth? They have not answered my email.
Well what's the right price? Is it d4? Or you think we both can find a decent one to match? I like the Dayton HO but only see it in d2. And the si15 d4 is still in stock. I'm torn, let's call and beg for another batch!!
