Thanks. Couldn't have gone ported with out your help. Do you happen to know about the mic, or meter, used for getting a accurate reading on what it's doing?

Is a good DB meter close to the price of a mic to calibrate?

Looks awesome
For short term fix you can use your cell phone as a spl meter. Not terribly accurate (there are apps ) but will help. Measure 20,30,40 hz tones and eq. Long term you want a good spl meter , or mic to measure . The umik 1 is a good measuring mic and there are lots of spl meters out their.

As Donnie stated there are a lot of mic options and quite a few threads on here talking about it. I have a couple bookmarked that I will send when I get in front of the computer.

The most accessible is the radioshack spl meter but it is not he most accurate especially in the lower frequencies. This is what I have for now...

I have also used AudioTools app on the iphone...

I went to order another si18 d4 to match for when I have the room and they are sold out. I also saw some posts saying they may not be making anymore!?! Any one know the truth? They have not answered my email.

As far as I know for sure it's a no go on new ones. Could you sell the one you have and possibly get the Dayton subs or 2 of the D2? I feel your pain I wouldn't want unmatched subs either.

Well what's the right price? Is it d4? Or you think we both can find a decent one to match? I like the Dayton HO but only see it in d2. And the si15 d4 is still in stock. I'm torn, let's call and beg for another batch!!
