Emailed Behringer today. They said the amp was still being tested and repaired....

They gave no specifics on what is being done or when I can expect it back. Im not really worried as I still have the SP2-12000 causing massive grins!

Can you elaborate on this? I was about to grab 2 inuke3000's and was gonna get the DSP version just in case I ever wanted it.

To their credit, they have responded to my emails within a few hours most of the time. Curious to see what they "fixed"

thebuckaman,
What happened with the inuke 12k?

I'd like to see this Pyle amp tested.
It oughta be good for a laugh.

John...did you take over for Joe Sanborn, or is there more than one person with that title?
You used to be product support, right?

Gotta tell you...provided the amp issue was resolved correctly, outstanding to see a Behringer presence here.

buck...let us know about the follow-through...if you wouldn't mind, sir! biggrin.gif

Wow! I'll say! I hope they appreciate the popularity of their products among members here.
Perhaps they may even be open to some suggestions moving forward. smile.gif

Just received a call from Behringer CARE center in LV. Informed me that the amplifier has gone through extensive testing and should be shipping by end of the day Wednesday. Also was informed that I will be getting a call from the technician assigned to my case to discuss what was found and done.

Pretty impressed thus far. Cant wait to talk to the tech.

Sweet! Look forward to hearing from you again once you've talked with the engineer.

Btw, was that supposed to be "expensive testing" or "extensive testing"? Cuz it could go either way. wink.gifbiggrin.gif

YES! As you might know, Jon, I run two QSC DSP-4 units to EQ each of my 4 subs, but have faithfully kept your thread linked in my signature hoping that John or some other Behringer rep with some influence would see our call for a Behringer product like this that would be well-received.
It would certainly sell to AVS members.
I would strongly consider selling my two DSP-4s if a Behringer product like this came out...and could accommodate 4 individual outputs.

If your amp is fixed now and really putting out all that power you might need some new speaker wire.

I saw some that should work

Now, that's the way to do it.
Behringer has had the unit and the opportunity to go over it with a fine-tooth comb.
Let 'er rip now and see what happens, eh?

"Behringer has had the unit and the opportunity to go over it with a fine-tooth comb."

that might not actually be the best thing. who knows if it is now representative of what other folks will get in their 'box'. just don't want to see anybody get faked out.

thanks for testing the amp brian!
