I'm human.......curiosity got to me! Worst case scenario, if these two UM's are a pain to integrate, then using them in my 5.1 in greatroom would be fine.

Curiosity skinned the cat! .

BTW, yes you did.....

Thanks for asking......she is fine and laughed it off. Getting rid of tripping hazard by way of adding subs is a good thing.

Have two options......

Tear out step and widen.......or

Build two MOAR subs since wiring is there already. Which solution is more proactive? Yup.........more subs!

Yes I'm going to build two dual opposed cabinets for the front of the room and I build two single driver sealed cabinets for the back of the room. Four drivers upfront and two in the back behind my back row of seats.

I'm also going to buy three SpeakerPower amps to power them. So each driver will be getting 2000watts from arguably the best sub amps on the market. I'm getting the plate amps though as I'm getting tired of listening to amp fans!....lol

Well I a very envious. I have been wanting to buy their plate amps for a while. Only thing available with that much power. I will have to settle on a clone for now. Look forward to your build.

I'll be using my Peavy IPR2-7500 to power the four upfront for now and a inuke 6000DSP for the two at the back of the room. Hoping to have the SpeakerPower amps in a month or so.

Unfortunately their arent Peavey 7500 amps here. And I want more power than the Inuke can deliver so bummed. Who are you ordering from for the SP amps?

SP or Mark?
