Hi all,

I am making a high value sub woofer for my office. Sealed Infinity 1260 driver. Need advice on an amp plate. I should note I also have the dual voice coil version as well and could install either into the box. Looking for a good high value match with maximum bang for the buck.

Although I am not a fan of plate amps any more, i think what ever is on sale right now with the appropriate wattage would work just fine.

Which dayton? The lower wattage models are 'old school' class AB. The BASH are some class of class D (or T or something). The higher wattage Daytons use something a bit different, based on Carver's signal tracking James Bond kinda stuff. smile.gif I'd go BASH or Yung, as in my experience, they are much less prone to ground-loop noise, or mechanical hum from the larger transformers used in class a/b. JMHO.
