Is that your hidden sub chalugadp?  It came out really nice.  I've been wrestling with the idea of down firing in some end tables or maybe even in the end of a bar.

I am loving the marty cube from Chaluga with the veneer and some of the other ones that have been stained or painted satin black instead of Duratex. Once the lights are out and these bad boys are rocking who cares what color they are right?

BTW, as far as listening impressions. I put the MTM on top of the marty and played just the right channel with the marty and the MTM. I turned on Pandora and found the Let Her Go song by Passenger which has some nice vocals, and when I closed my eyes and just listened I could actually hear the individual strings from the guitar being plucked. It was AWESOME!!!

These MTM speakers are amazing. I am not a professional by any standards but I could tell you that these sounded the same if not better (less treble-ee) than the $1200 B&W speakers I heard at Magnolia Hi-Fi in town, and these where about $300 out the door and weight more than 8 year old.biggrin.gif

If I walked by your speakers in a store, I would easily think they were worth a heck of a lot more than that!  :)

Thank you. We watched another movie last night and it wasn't an action flick at all but I enjoyed it so much more now with the MTM. The voices where clear and sounded real. They had a little depth to them and I could not tell they where coming from a speaker almost 2 feet down from the center of the tv, it sounded like the voices where coming directly from the actors mouths. Hard to explain but it sounded like I was having the conversation with them in person.

Finally got my set of MTM together..so far I'm pretty impressed by the clarity and tone quality. I want to add some clothes grill in front of the to finish the look...
