Last year we did a GTG at luke's house and featured 2x Gjallarhorn powered by a sanway fp14000, 2x Othorn powered by a sanway fp14000, 2x jtr captivators powered by a peavey ipr3000, 2x mfw15 loaded lilmike cinema f20s powered by a crown xls-1500, and a JTR Orbit Shifter LFU with it's onboard 8000w speakerpower amp.

This year we are likely going to have 2x Gjallarhorn powered each with a mono bridge Crest CC4400, 2x Othorn powered by a mono bridge Crest CC5500, 2x Captivators hopefully powered with something capable of driving them better, 2x tempest 15x2 loaded lilmike cinema f20s powered by a QSC plx-3402. We also are hoping to demo the new JTR 215RT, a pair of yorkville u215, and a pair of JBL 4722n. Might even bring my Klipsch KLF-30s

Other equipment is always welcome, I'd like to have people with other ID or Diy designs to bring theirs. This is about seeing all of what's out there.

With one channel driven at 2ohm, the 5500 can output over 3,600w...

I think between all of what me and you
have we have the amp section covered=)

Are you going to complete your basement remodel before the GTG? Or are we going to go as-is?

The basement will have to go as is.

I am will to move the Othorns to another location if we want to have it somewhere else, but the Ghorns are staying put.

I'd like to see home theater tour, check out 3-5 homes each day. Compare room layout, equipment, calibration, etc. Bring discs or media player to all sites to hear same content and compare.

That's my neck of the woods! I work in Monticello and live in Buffalo. I'm hoping it works out to attend. I've never been a part of one of these, but am hoping to have my theate done in a month or so, so it would be fun to see others work and equipment as we'll.

I'll be updating the main thread later today with a list of possible attendees.

I really want to get the JTR 215RT at this meet, and three of them! We could easily power each with 1,500+ watts each with all three doing LFE duty.

The big JTR 215 loudspeakers, wow getting them to a gtg is a huge undertaking.

I've spent some time listening to them, I'd love to hear them again. They were very nice ... Jeff's KungFu is good.

The gtg sounds like a good one.

Looks like we are aiming for the last weekend in July. Probably Saturday the 26th. How does everyone's calendar look for this?

Preliminary lineup:
Mains-
Yorkville U-215
Luke's SEOS 10s
JTR 215RT
Maybe my Klipsch KLF-30s?

Subs-
2x Gjallarhorn
2x Othorn
2x Tempest x2 loaded f20s
???
I'd really like it if someone brought a PSA Triax.
Anyone local have any Danley stuff?
Really would be nice to get a good variety of things for people to hear.

I would potentially be interested in going to this if there is anything that people may want me to bring. Possibly the TD12M/SEOS12 with Radian compression driver.

The 26th is taking shape to be the date we go with, most people seem to have availability that day. John, the seos 12 would be a welcome addition.

I'm going to investigate some recent GTG's and find out what music selection was used. I recall once recently, maybe by Gorilla83 or beastaudio, where they had a fairly long mp3 clip that they used to blind test a whole bunch of mains.

Since it looks like we're going to have some AE-SEOS/Yorks/JTR 215RT there, we definitely need to showcase some high quality music.
