After feeling the raw power of my dayton subwoofer build, I am interested in rethinking my main speakers and considering a DIY approach...

I like the efficiency and sound of midrange/hi horns, coupled with a 15" sub driver.

Any links to some ideas or specific kits that are highly regarded would be appreciated!

How big room? How loud you want?

Any size of the speaker requirements ?

Off the top of my head a FUSION 12 seems like a great choice.

I'd have no hesitation recommending the Fusion 15.

My 15 blends well with my UM's at anywhere from 200 to 70hz.

The fusion does look like a decent line, cheap enough to try. Ideas about the shaping of the box?

Any other good horn kits to consider?

Any spherical horn kits?

Buy the flat pack and just glue it together, or follow the standard box build (dimensions and cut sheet) for that speaker. Easiest and the result is proven certain from previous others.
