for the moment try this. Tap on the title bar at the top of the screen to automatically jump to the top. I will look into your request.

Reefdvr27, my long post was not aimed at you, but just a lot of general posters who are posting their problems in the wrong place. I examined your links and it is indeed strange how you are missing some tabs. I know that you reported it in the right thread now, so I am confident it will be looked at and eventually solved.

The new floating menu bar for mobile view is in! It's a little buggy, sometimes it floats in the wrong area, but it's a great start in the right direction. Thanks for the hard work guys!

Now, about that multi reply button 😊

Work in progress for sure. This option being used on a desktop PC in Mobile View will duplicate the menu bar going back up. On my poor lil Samsung Precedent one will see the a duplicate Menu bar, yet it stays parked on top.

In mobile view: when you hit the menu icon at the top left it will open a side bar that gives you several options. One of those options is Subscriptions. Right now what happens is, you have to select subscriptions and it will then drop down another selectable label called my subscriptions.

Do we really need to take this extra step? Can we not just select subscriptions once? That's how it was working yesterday at least 😊

I think the forum admins know damn well that anytime you change something major there will be blowback...and it won't be small. They must listen to it, acknowledge it, look into it, and then potentially do something about it. If they don't...well, it isn't good. So the people who say "don't let the door hit you...." really need to think twice about saying something like that when it isn't your paycheck that goes down because of less clicks.

What could really be bad though is if nobody complains and they just leave. That is just worse because you have no chance to fix what is wrong. So while some people may pound and scream saying "fix this or I will leave". I think it is preferable to seeing that statistics tool saying "ruh-roh". This, like most things, will pass. So far VS has been pretty good IMO of trying to "do the right thing" (TM). If we get back to near what we had before in a couple of weeks, we will be making shirts next year saying "I survived the forum upgrade of 2014".

I have no Windows 7 nor IE 11 addons for a sidebar installed/enabled. Or are you talking about the 'sidebar' frames embedded in the AVS web pages that appear on the right side of the web page for things such as "Active Topic". I have tried disabling the very few IE11 addons that I have installed (e.g., Google toolbar) and this did not solve the issue with the IE11 page back function not being reliable on (only) AVS forum web pages. I have also tried running IE11 in compatibility mode but this made no difference. Finally I have discovered that the small ad that appears at the top of the right column of this page for "related products" has a photo/graphic image that zooms in and out when I click on the page forward and page back arrows of IE11 instead of actually doing a page forward or page back. I'm only having this issue on the AVS Forum web site.

At least that annoying bug about how my old browser is soon going to be unsupported is now gone.

I just looked for the youtube tag, turns out those are now embedded automatically if you don't add the tags yourself like I did;-).

That active topics bar to the right brings me to places I normaly am seldomly seen.

If I right click on the back button in IE, I see 8 entries of this page! So I have to hit back at least 8 times to get back to the previous page I was on, Who's hijacking my browser. I've see similar where adclick or similar will do this.

It's cool Bob. I know it will get fixed. It is just an extra step for the time being that I have to check my email. Thx for looking into it.

You must have the sidebar enabled, right? If so, disable the sidebar by going to "tools/user cp/edit your details/Sidebar enabled?" and change the setting to "disabled". If you already have the sidebar enabled, then I don't know the answer.

Any threads that you were following should be listed under the "User CP" up in the top right corner.
Now that I'm getting use to the new forums I'm finding more and more that I like them, the only thing that I really miss was how easy it was to post pics in the old forums. Hopefully they can get that worked out though.

There is currently an invisible button to the right of the name of the poster in the User CP. When you hover there your pointer goes from pointer to hand to show the link. Click the invisible button. Admins need to assign a GIF to it.

I actually really like how the "User CP" only shows the threads that you are subscribed too when I new post is posted. That's better then always having like two or three pages of threads that weren't being posted in showing up in your subscriptions that the old forums would do.
