Repairing JBL's
I have an old pair of JBL lx500's that have ripped woofers and am looking to replace them. I suppose I can get the original parts but wouldn't mind upgrading the components. Can someone steer me in the right direction as to what might be appropriate for the cabinet? The JBL website isn't of much help.

Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Hi, your best bet would be to hear with the guys over at the Lansing Heritage forums, as those guys really know their things. Many of them are retired and used to work at the JBL factory as engineers and have detailed information about most of JBL's designs old and new.
