Behringer epx4000 - power on light issue

Using the epx4000 to drive two diy subs built using the flat packs from Eric with the Dayton 18 inch drivers....put it all together finally....

No sound....sad.....

Checked the sub with a denon avr just to get some output and the sub did play. Then took a close look at the epx4000 and noticed the power-on light was amber (orange). Read where it was supposed to be blue. But could not find what this indicated. I unplugged all cables and tried different power outlet sources and still the amber light. Opened the case up and checked fuses and voltage settings. All looked good.

Looking for any help on what to try next.....thoughts.

Thanks!

Are you using anything between the Denon and the behringer?

No equipment - just RCA out from denon to xlr in on the amp (RCA to xlr cable)

I did remove all cables and restarted the amp - amp power-on light still amber.

Thanks

Did you purchasecthis new or used if used was it auditioned before you purchased it just to be sure it worked before. Look like those light are an indication of a short.

I get no sound.

Low volume may be because of low line levels send the signal to the amp from the avr / pre amp. Might need to boost the line level.

Purchased new - I thought about the amber light indicating a short or clipped signal, but could not find anything that confirms this. I am trying to post at behringer web site.

Had it awhile - just now got around to building the subwoofers and hooking them up.

Might look for a repair shop to take it to and see if they can diagnose the problem.
