Sub position

Finally hope to start building boxes soon. Having a smallish room (1650cf) crammed with stuff isn't helping. If I do a sub crawl with my pl-200 will the same positioning work for a 18" ported box (11-12cf). Or will the different tuning affect the positioning? Just wondering because I am debating on my boxes. If I go with both on the front wall I can use a basic rectangle flat face box. If I go with one in front and one against the back wall behind my seating I will have to build completely different boxes with angled fronts.

same spot, your room dimensions and listening position is what effects sub placement
