I want to hear how those Behringer 215's held up. They've raised quite a commotion after imagic's review and use for his theater room.

Mostly the behringer 215's and the Triads. The behringer speakers were quite good for their price. Little too bright for me but they were not eq'd (none were). I think they could make great speakers for people on a budget. They're ugly for HT, but behind a screen no one would know.

The triads were really good. I wasn't blown away considering their cost, but a very nice speaker. I wish I had more time to hang out.

All of the guys were very nice and welcoming. I was the only first timer there and it didn't feel like that. Great time today

Quite good, I was really impressed. They are a bit bright, but I thought they sounded great. The also sounded good upstairs and downstairs with the treatments.

Metallica In through the Never "One" at +18 with the U215's, just sick. Andrews new subs have really added some great punch. Madness as usual.

Sherborn for the mains and the Inuke for the rear subs and Peavys for the all the other subs. That is what it appeared, correct me if I am wrong.

Next time for sure. With more notice I won't plan other events, lol. I really wanted to hear your Yorkville's. They look like monsters. Your bass is unreal. Definitely something to shoot for. I had a great time. I can't thank you enough.

Since we are doing cnc pictures here you go. 8 tool ATC changer, 20 tool drill bank (with horizontal drills as well), 5'x10' table, 7.5KW spindle. 3 phase power.
Sure. What CAM program are you using? I have Vectric Aspire files for this design and Austin's ready to go. the CAD was done in sketchup '14.

Dave has it spot on. I went in the amp room (bathroom) to check on the amps when we were driving them. I saw the DDTs on the peavys lighting up so I backed the trims down a bit. I'm SURE at least the receiver outputs were clipping to some degree but man I thought it sounded clean! These damn speakers are so sensitive it just doesn't take much to get there. For reference the platinums were a full 10db trimming off from the U215s.

Glad you enjoyed! you will have to stop over sometime soon to listen to my setup again. Thanks very much for bringing the 1099s, I loved them.

What are the little speakers to the right of the 215?

Great to see all the pics. Awesome backyard. Wish my kids had that much room. What was the smaller cabinet for? 18" sealed?

215s, rillias sentinals, the small one is the Volt-8

the other box is for a 24, just different dimensions, we cut 2 boxes for Austin to haul 1/2 way around the world. 28"28"30" or so

That was EPIC! Cannot convey the pure awesomeness of the Yorkville's with Metallica. +18 was achieved without audible stress on your system...unreal.

Great stuff guys! Looks like fun, ... I wish I would've been free to make the trip.

Maybe I missed it, but what was the completed cabinet weight? It appears damn robust from the images.

Thanks, Kevin
