Here's the result of my diy subs: Oops

So I'm watching "Getaway" and the scene with the power plant explosion is on. I see outhe of the corner of my eye something fall from my ceiling. I press pause and walk over.
Turns out the bass rattled my recessed ceiling light bulb clean out of its socket.
I swept up the mess and played the scene again. Freaking awesome!!! I guess I have to remove the rest of the bulbs by hand tomorrow. Good thing I have plenty of other lighting lol.
BTW those are two si 18's and an inuke 6000dsp

Bravo! I used a few healthy blobs of painters caulk inside my cans to keep them from rattling out. It stopped the vibration sounds too.

Thanks for the tip. I have some work to do. Anyone have a ladder I can borrow? My ceilings are 14ft lol

Damn I didn't notice that. Yes I put on slides I keep next to the couch and I'm only a hobbit on the weekends

When you break the lightbulb's filament while they are still in their sockets, then you know you have bass.

I had to switch to LED lighting. Can't exploded LED's...(OR CAN YOU? LOL )
