Hello, I want to start getting into DIY. I know this is probably a classic post that comes up often, but I want my own
I'm looking for a sealed enclosure (for space compensation) and an extension of at least 20hz. This is for music and HT so i don't need crazy SPL or 10hz extension.
It doesn't bother me if this is a 15" or 18" driver, even a 12" in fine, but I'm finding it hard to find a sealed 12" driver that has good measurements in low 20hz range (without buying such an expensive driver). So a ported 12" will be fine, given reasonable space (height and depth isn't as important as width).
I prefer flat packs. It's honestly because of lack of tools and general know how (I would rather buy flat packs for time, and knowing there isn't any mistakes - in theory).
I'm hoping to have everything (driver, enclosure, amp) at or preferably under $600. Those little tools such as clamps, glue, tape I either already have, or have a home depot gift card that has it's name on it
Thanks!
