Sub I Messed Up

I ordered an INuke 3000DSP, all wiring, an 18" Ultimax, new fan for amp, everything. I was going to build a mini-marty but just do not have the tools or skills. I decided to order the Stonehenge from Eric but have not paid for it yet. Should I return the UM and get an 18" RS from Dayton? Is that cabinet ok for the RS HO?

I don't know about the Sundowner subs now from SI. I appreciate any suggestions I really like the flat pack from Eric and I am so ready to get going.

IF you return the Ultimax why not buy the SI 18? It would save you about $80 and IF you decide you want to add another SI 18" you can use the second channel on your Inuke 3000.

I'm still alittle confused about the Stonehenge flat pack. Do you have to order the internal bracing for $88 and the external shell for $88? I must be looking at something different.

No need to return the Ultimax! It's a great sub and measures similarly to the SI HT18. The Stonehenge box should work fine with it.
Depending on where you're located, you may be able to find a local shop that could build you a box too.

I would love to keep it and not hassle with the exchange. Everything I have read says the UM needs a larger box. Also I don't need to spend any more right now. lol

Stonehenge is a little small for ultimax. Will work but not nearly as good as it would in 2cuft bigger cab

weird. Could you order just the internal sub structure and cut a square box for the panels. or buy the panels and build your own internal structure? Guess I don't understand why its sold as 2 separate units unless that's the thinking behind it.

*Since both pics are the same it doesn't really show whats included in each pack

It's so that the correct shipping amount is calculated since it ships in two different boxes

Reduces shipping cost as each box is around 50lbs, otherwise Fedex would not handle.

Agreed exchange for SI 18 @ $159.00. You can use your Inuke 3000 and Stonehenge.

I just ordered 2. They arrived 3 days later. Talk about FAST..... ZOOOOOM

Some post I read the other day said it had the sundown logo and I went to their website and looked at their subs. I may be wrong.

Have you had problems with sundown, or their subs?

Oops, I didn't realize that. I have two Ultimax 10"s but they'll each be going into small sealed boxes for mine and my wife's cars.

The Sundown Zv4 18 has the logo and is similar to the SI HST18.

Sundown > Logo
HST18 > No logo

You missed out on SI's FREE shipping on the HT18 for all of January. $318 for two.

I ordered the SI18 this morning. Picking up glue (any final suggestions) and walmart bed topper, primer and thinking about 4x. Looking forf lat black to match my other subs. I am going to run this one bridged from the 3000 and if I add another later I will add another amp. This will be my 4th, but 1st real sub.

Did you send the UM18 back? If you were close to me, I'd have saved you the trouble. I'd rather have it than the SI18. Now when you start comparing the HST18, I have a harder time deciding.

No, it is at my office and I am working from home today. I know I will have to eat shipping so if yo want it I am fine, my company ships fed/ex from our docks daily. It would ship from 40218 at no shipping costs to you..
