Evx-180b?

I admit I have been a little blinded by being a JBL fanboy. After blowing my 2242/2245's I'm looking elsewhere. Has any body considered the EV EVX-180B 18" woofers? The Film-Tech guys rave about the TL880D cinema sub. Most like it better than any of the 2242 variants. I may get a couple despite the small xmax, but the sensitivity is awesome.

I don't think xmax will be a concern with you running them as ported mid bass cabs. I read a review on parts express where that driver is highly recommended by the BassPig who uses six of them...say no more. Google that guys set up
