That's because there's no such thing, and if there were it would have been invented by someone who is uninformed.

Flexy lossy walls lessen the strength of room modes and smooth response.

I can stack dual 24's on top of each other with my JTR OS pros in the middle. I've got 52" to work with not including the OS pros. so the 24's fit perfect at 25.5" x 25.5" x 29 vs the 32" box at 34 x 50 x 30 (etc, just has to be minimum of 34 because of driver size)

Nice work, N8! Cant wait to see the finished project. Any news on when they'll be on the website/ measured/ for sale to mere mortals? (The 24s and 32s!) Starting to have evil ideas so I need a pricepoint to (probably) squish that urge. But also want some measurements I can discuss with my buddy over here sitting on my right shoulder

The full retail 32" motor is done, Jmusto got a message from Mark saying it's done and he's waiting for a few parts and then assembly. No word on price yet but I'd suspect you'll know pretty soon.

Probably an adjacent bedroom, using the wall frame as a baffle, with a port like this

Kryptonitewhite (RIP) did this. Only person to have done it afaik. Used the entire attic and had a couple of PVC pipes right through the wall.

Lol I thought he just used the room next to his with some kind of 'port' in the door.

Well my "HT" has 3 doors leading to different rooms. I can work with that. Also I live in attic but there is space above which could be used like quite big enclosure. I don't think my town would be pleased though.

I'm doing 6 ported 18s using a closet as the enclosure in my dedicated theater. To my knowledge, first done by Rodney over at HTShack nearly 10 years ago, and we called it SLLT, structural large and low tuned.

Krypto did have the four IB 18's in two large cabinets ported. He also later on used his adjacent room and the door as the baffle for an IB system which he also ported that. Every time he mentioned porting the IB to the IB forum most said it was stupid and wouldnt do anything. So he did it anyways and, as most now know, it did well. I had many countless messages back an forth with the guy. Very knowledgeable and a bit crazy. LOL. RIP

I am thinking that maybe the 32" will cost about 22-2400 each. 24" will cost about 1800. Lets see how far off I am.

Hey any of you guys talk to Mark? What's the story with IST? I was looking into UXL18s and maybe this 32 but for some time it seems he's been out of stock in drivers. I thought maybe his custom work keeps him really busy. Curious if anyone can shed some light for me, is the UXL18 a thing of the past?

I thought Mark's company worked more along the lines of doing batches at a time instead of always having stock. Could be wrong but it seems to be the way things are going for a few small companies.
