Thinking of changing gears to more efficient speakers

Currently I'm using the Dayton Classic WMTMW (in my sig) for my front speakers along with an 18Hz horn from tsloms design. I had been planning on going nuts and build a third tower for a center and build tritrix MTMs for surrounds. But after thinking I'd have to buy another amp for the center (most receivers won't put out the 200W at 4Ohms to hit reference), and with my sub being very efficient, I'm debating going a different way with all my speakers.

I'm thinking of using the 2 Pi speakers for LCR and the 1 Pi for surrounds. Would a setup like that be able to get reference (or close)? Not that I'd use it all the time, but I like the headroom available.

My current mains need 200W to hit 105dB, but the 2 pi only needs 50W to hit the same levels, easily achievable by my yamaha receiver.

Has anyone made mains and surrounds with these? How do they sound? This will be a big change in direction for me if I choose to do it, so any help would be great! Thanks.
