I have been playing around with modeling them but I am not very confident of my skills yet.

The other interesting one I found was this Lightning. The Xmax seems crazy at 21.2mm, but the sensitivity is pretty bad. It's $80. This is DVC version.

Lightning Audio L2-D412
Size 12 -inch

Vas (liters) 88.6
Fs (Hz) 23.5
Qts 0.63
Xmax (millimeters) 21.2
The low FS, high Qts and VAS would make this driver suitable for infinite baffle installation.
Running it through WinISD generates good response, but a huge box (ported or sealed) and low output. The JBL driver is a much better choice for most.

The infinity subs packed a nice punch and we're nice when these were around Ryan is selling four of his right now like he's saying. For the money they were hard to beat that's why there was so many guys running these and the interest on this thread. They went low and sounded good i. Slot ported boxes, sealed boxes etc etc. At one time I had 8 behind my last row of seats and made for a fun movie experience. Purenv if you can get these for a good price it's worth trying out.

GRS 12SW-4 12" Poly Cone Subwoofer 4 Ohm

http://www.parts-express.com/grs-12s...4-ohm--292-484

Heir Apparent to the Infinity? I don't know enough about
Thiele-Small Parameters to judge if it's a good substitution, but the reviews at Parts Express are good...and you can get them for just $19.75 each if you buy them in fours.
