Precision Power FRX-456 as a stopgap electronic Crossover, any prob?

Ive been jones'n to add some midbass modules to my setup for a while now, obviously all the extra amps/dsp makes it a financial challenge. I have about $600 for upgrades. A nu4-6000 and 2 mbm-12s or 2 pa-460 setup would use up the the whole budget and give no flexibility for crossovers.

However I realized I have on of these electronic crossovers in a box somewhere when I was going to do a full DIY setup in my truck 10 years ago that never happened.

I realize it cant do delay(or eq, but have some eq capability in my rx-a3010), but since its an analog electronic crossover, it shouldn't add any processing delay that would require extra time alignment correct?

its rated at >102dB s/n and thd of .002% at 1vrms 1khz

Also just realized I could use the "rear" crossover section to add midbass support to the center channel.
