I wish I'm picking up wood tomorrow morning tonight I'm pulling everything out so I can get some real measurements to see what will fit best behind my screen. I want to do a a mock up with some cardboard and the waveguide its spot on for the first and second row. There's going to be saw dust tomorrow and I'll have all my box dimensions figured out.
I'm still wrestling around with the idea of building the waveguide into the box or just have sit on top. If it sits on top the box will go really fast but if its built in the box it's going take more time but look more professional when done.

My room is torn apart right now haha

Hi Brian yes it is I have one of the og VBSS boxes that Matt originally built along with two Dayton PA460 subs. These will be installed somewhere and if not in my room in the first row on the sides they will be for future GTG meets so we can have two rooms going at the same time. The Last GTG meet that was really needed. With everyone walking around drinking eating and talking it would be nice to have who ever was there play what ever they want through different speakers having these VBSS backing them up. I think everyone would enjoy that and maybe help with any diysg speaker decision that there on edge about. I took notes from last gtg.
Also with some out of state guys who are interested in coming one friend wanted to have a mock room setup with treatments to see how the Acoustical panels help. We figured we can play music with out them and then add them to see how it helps and where the best general locations are best.

I'd be an "out of state" member who would be interested in a gtg. I've still yet to see another members theater (finished). Brian, let's go if we get invited

Quick and ugly gets my vote. It's going to be completely hidden anyways. Will sound exactly the same.

I think @eng-399 should go full @PassingInterest on these bad boys. Rosewood veneer would be acceptable.

DIYSG Titan-615 Build

Picked up all the mdf this late morning and started making some cuts. I pretty much have most of cut minus I think 6 panels. Tomorrow I'm picking up the xo boards and cutting the rest of the wood so hopefully tomorrow night I'll start glueing everything together.
I have 4 more panels to cut and then I'm finished minus the waveguide mount.

I told my wife that I sold my 1099s for such a good price that I can now get some new speakers. She said, but you already paid for your new speakers before you knew would even sell those. Guilty as charged. Lol.

MTG90 sent me a photo to give some perspective on how big the capacitor is that we used. I took some photos with a Pepsi can, but haven't downloaded them yet.
