As my fellow Canadians will attest, getting our hands on a performing sub is difficult and very costly shipping these behemoths across the border. In the very little research that I've done these are looking like a great deal and Canadian to boot http://www.istonline.ca/mach5_ftw_lte.html.
I like the idea of the Marty enclosure but need some guidance. IST recommends a 300L (roughly 10ft) sealed enclosure. Does this mean it will not perform well ported? I'm not against sealed but thought I could get more out of the subs this way, not to mention the tried and tested simplicity of the Marty.
FWIW the room is 20'x16'x9', I was going to start with 2 up front adding near field afterwards if required.
Appreciate the input.
