I'd love to get the two of them in a room together. They could either duke it out or hug it out (maybe both) and then move on to bigger and better things. Maybe they could merge their two companies together and take over the DIY sub driver market completely! LOL

Nice try bro. There was never anything wrong with them, aside from the customs department in your country physically destroying one in their "examination".

I ended up selling the 3 working ones and reconed the damaged one. They went to clients who knew what they were doing.

3 were defective, that's really all there is to it. I've imported plenty from many companies, customs has never damaged anything.

Perhaps you should be more concerned about offering polite customer service and a working product than trying to argue facts.

No kind sir, you are not. I am. You do not provide awesome service, as evidenced by some of your communications and unwillingness to be supportive/helpful. I know just fine what I am doing, I've imported and used drivers (and complete systems) from many companies/countries, they all were fine upon arrival and continue to work. Yours is the only defective product I have ever received from abroad.

BZZZZT! Wrong. This is the last time I will respond to you. You cost me a fair chunk of change. Luckily, I was able to recoup some of it back by selling them to clients who knew what they were doing. At a reduced cost of course, since they were no longer new. Either way, if you just knew what you were doing, you could have had a real decent setup.

Goodbye.

I am correct, you are mistaken.

You seem to be ignoring the issues I faced, and not just in monetary terms due to your attitude.

I have a setup that works well for me. Again I know very well what I am doing, manufacturer defects are not my problem though. Nor should they be for any customer/consumer.

Goodbye.

What are you referencing? If you mean the defects, yeah I have read a few from Mach 5. I've never had anything else arrive defective/DOA from abroad. I've imported a lot of stuff, amps too.

The QC issue. I recommended a pair of UXL18s to a friend a while ago since when they're working, they perform well. He got one with a dust cap that wasn't properly attached and the other had VC rub.

Someone else on the forum recently had like 7/8 drivers with issues, though he took them back in the end, but I recall a bunch of the same "only X had issues the others were fine" type responses trying to trivialize the poor qc.

I don't know the details on your situation, but if I received damaged drivers then this type of response on the forums, I'd be pretty upset.

I think you mean Luke with the 7/8?

There's other choices if people want, plenty of choices, BTH has posted an intriguing option should it work out to be a winner. For that price though I am a little afraid to think about the Qes/Qts on it, lol.

You just gotta roll with it, I am not surprised by his response given what he said to me earlier, in private of course. If you wanna know more just PM me.

Realistically the majority of individuals that order drivers tend to be silent unless they run into issues so it's really hard to peg QC issues unless you have a decent sample size.

From Jinlida? I don't know. I have some samples (parts) that take a 5 inch coil but opted in the end to go with a 4" size instead.

I've ordered multiple drivers from Mark, incuding two current FTW-21's, and have had problems with none. He even helped me out with an old rare car audio sub when I needed a second. Customer service beyond reproach.

I hate seeing QC issues because it scares me away from buying from smaller companies. Last picture I remember seeing was Not's Mal's, I think, all in the snow. Sad day and sad to see another company gone. Anyways look forward to seeing how this turns out. I dont have high hopes but at least someone with money is willing.

Same here. The benefits of domestic manufacturing is usually the quality , or we expect that and gladly support it. Buying from CN is a risk at times, but some have had good QC from CN. The CA30 never panned out but some others have been doing well with the other copy amps.

what enclosure are you going to build for the 24" driver BassThatHz? Is there a T/S sheet for this driver?

You wrote at one time your goal was 90KW now if you went with 50 clones and 700Kw why stop there get 72 clones and go for 1millionW. Of course you would need your own electrical station. Maybe then you could demolish the current record for spl. I know this all seems far fetched but if anybody around here is addicted enough to do this well I think you would be the one. Sometimes I question my sanity with my system but I am not even close to your system.
