First build Fusion Quad-4

I want to start by saying i was really impressed by diysg before anything arived in the mail. It was the simple fact that i was refunded $4, im assuming because the shipping estimate was high. They easily could have kept it, id have never known, but they went through the effort to return it. I was impressed. Also seemed silly over $4 but whatever. It also let me know that the package was on its way which was nice.
So yesterday, St Patricks Day, it arrives. As does the new tv stand. I built the TV stand while my wife got ready, and finished not too long after the babysitters showed up. No time for speaker. Today i got the flat pack glued up and the crossover 90% done. So far so good.
Ive never built a speaker and ive never used a soldering iron. Ive done plenty of plumbing type soldering so while the equipment is very different the ideas are the same. Oh and no i didnt use plumbing solder. Then i threw the woofers, waveguide and ports in just to get a better idea of how its going to look. Im just sad i need to put a grill on it cause i think its going to be purdy. But ive got 4 year old triplet boys so a grill is a must. Still working on an exact plan for that.

Id have taken more pictures but im far from the first to build this speaker and im a rookie so probably not the person to learn from. But im excited and wanted to share since it was lurking here that convinced me to take the plunge.
And i know the crossover is IP so hopefully nothing is too ledgible. Plus its my first so it could be wrong...
Anyway, its been good first day in the land of diy speakers.

You will be pleasantly surprised about how these can put out.

I have a pair, CC, for my surrounds.
I have tried them as mains,in stereo with subs, switching out the F15's , the mlp is 11" and they were spread about 6-7' CTC for the cute little horns.
they needed a xo of 80 -100 for that. clear , powerful (125wpc), smooth , tall sound stage, good center fill and for stereo good smooth panning,
like with Hendricks guitar in "all the along the watch tower"

as surrounds tight to the wall, XT32 gave them , initially, an xo of 40!

lets have more pics when you can . . .

Did you get the LCR set?

I'm excited too, I've recently been thinking a lot about building three of these for my LCR. AFTER I finish my subwoofer cabinet. Looking forward to your build and finish.

Oh and since it was asked. Im planning on trying piano black. It will be almost completely hidden inside my tv stand so if it doesnt look good it wont really matter.
