It started yesterday and it's being worked on.

My understanding is that the company that set up the domain name isn't linking properly to the company that hosts the actual website. Live Chat for a couple hours yesterday.....and right now!

I wish I knew the terminology better. "Domain isn't sending DNS at all". Uh, what?

It wasn't that. Just some strange glitch. I never got finished putting up the clearance stuff before it went down.

I don't think it's back up though. I had to 'change the name servers' and they said it could take 24 hours for that to work.

And let me just add a thank you to Erich for all he does. Diysg is awesome.

Don't get too excited, it's just the Concentric-8, B-stock stuff, and the Cinema-8/10 with B-stock woofers. I do have some B&C compression drivers that were never used in kits and some other stuff, but I wasn't able to get all that up because of the site problems.

I'm not seeing anything but a blue Microsoft Server page. But I did get an post/reply notification from AVS......which is the first email I've got in about 24hrs. So I guess something is slowly getting fixed.

The name server in that code is what they told me to put in about 30 minutes ago, but said it could take a day or so to work. My sister has probably never even looked at the home page and went in on her Amazon tablet thing and she said she still see's the Microsoft blue screen. So you guys that are seeing the site.......magic.

I noticed there was no contact info in the WHOIS. If you haven't done it yet, you'll need to put contact info into your domain info for your registrar. Having valid contact info is a requirement, and if the info is not present or not accurate, it can cause the name lookup info to not be propagated. If you don't want to put your real name and phone number in there, you'll need to get WHOIS privacy service.

It's kinda sad to read about some of these kits being discontinued. The cinema 10's were my first speaker project. I'm kinda wanting to buy them again at the clearance price just to walk down memory lane.

Very few of the Cinema-10's and Cinema-8's were ever ordered. Kind of a shame because they're nice speakers.

The Continuum, Marksman, AviaTrix, Tango, and Denham are all going away because the tweeter was discontinued at Parts Express.

But that does leave room for other speaker models. Pete Schumacher is working on a dual Anarchy and Wavecor tweeter design that should be done soon. Curt Campbell is also working on a fairly high output design using a dome tweeter. He's just finishing up the center channel.

appreciative shoutout
"Curt Campbell is also working on a fairly high output design using a dome tweeter. He's just finishing up the center channel."

he's the designer of the F4Q4 . . .

as FH's I have them, the CC version, out front on full motion mounts at about 24" from the wall and 18" down from the ceiling wrt horz. CL

and XT32 initially set the xo to 40

that has to qualify as some serious designing mojo

as it did when they were surrounds and rather tight to the wall

they only had a eff. of about 88 compared to the 98ish of the 88 Specials I replaced them with.

bring it on . . .
