1. Would the imaging be better if the tweeter was offset mounted between pairs rather than "mirror" mounted between pairs? in MTM? 2way?

2. Polk uses 1.5" thick material for their LSi9 cabinets, Is this thickness really necessary and is it even available without having to laminate together two .75" pieces?

3. I've kinda concluded by posts here and on HTGuide that a WMTW center channel is best for horizontal placement. Again using Polk as an example, on their LSiC they turn all the drivers 90 degrees in the cabinet. Is there really a "dispersion" plane so that their mounting orientation must be followed?
