Do you know liberal Steve Jobs ceo of Apple voted for Obama and even said a IPhone would cost much much more if it was made 100% in the U.S.?

Do you understand that Apple, Dell, HP, Microsoft, Panasonic, Samsung, Sony, Toshiba etc are all massive multi-billion dollar "corporations" with factories in China and tech support in India making around .85 cents an hour? lol So you are a hypocrite and everyone who whines about corporations are hypocrites if you purchase these products and you're not showing integrity and honor and not practicing what you preach then. I am a free market capitalist.

Hey bud, when you say: "Corporate masters" it makes you out like some loser teenager or someone not even 22 years old who sits in his parent's house playing on the internet all day fighting on YouTube and other websites typing in the most ridiculous conspiracy theorist comments, so go smoke your pot and watch reruns of Family Guy and The Simpsons and get your information from John Stewart and Bill Maher (two multi-millionaires just like Glenn Beck) and go worship Jesse Ventura. Come up with something original, be original, stop getting your conspiracy theories from George Soros funded blog websites, quick smoking the pot and go wash the Che Guevera tshirt which was made in China.

I bet this guy wants "FREE" healthcare and "FREE" housing and "FREE" transportation and "FREE" internet that tax payers have to pay for. Go get a job and get off my paycheck you Perez Hilton liberal blogger.

LOL...nicely said!

Now, Glenn Beck made his millions, whether you agree with him or not it's his right and if you or anyone doesn't like it well go out and make your own money. But I notice there's a bit of hypocrisy, I don't see anyone mention Al Gore's massive mansion that has a $30,000 annual electric and gas bill which is 10x the national average when Al Gore is the one pushing the big hoax of "Man Made" global warming and how coincidently conveniently started calling it now "Global climate change" as he and his Hollywood elitist buddies ripped up half of LA's once beautiful landscape building mansions in exclusive isolated gated communities.

By the way, I looked at your nice Home Theater, I do like it, but I would say that maybe you live a hypocritical lifestyle, you seem to be living the life of those "greedy Republicans" and how is your life any different than anyone else who is into lots of excess and materialism and uses capitalism to benefit your lifestyle? I suggest you practice what you preach and get your political views in tune with your own lifestyle. Maybe you can post us your annual electric and gas bill and tax returns and show us how much you're living a "green" lifestyle and contributing to make your carbon foot print smaller as Al Gore, Hollywood and the Democrat Party demand from everyone else.

Absolutely beautiful. Well done.

I've been waiting for some time.

But for future reference, they might not want to post articles about political types if they don't want this kind of stupidity in the comments.

You're making a lot of assumptions about my political views.

I'm not a greenie. I'm not a democrat. I'm politically agnostic: you might believe in politicians and their party platforms, but I do not. I don't care how much carbon you use or how much money anyone makes. Where you got these ideas about me I have no idea, but it really doesn't matter one way or the other. This is just a thread on an AV discussion forum and hardly relevant to anything, except for perhaps our own amusement. If you're amusing yourself with these posts of yours, then great. That's the only reason I am here; let's be clear.

The fact is, I would love to cash in on the Beck "market," and I don't think there is anything wrong with making a buck. Who said I have any probem with him making money? More power to the guy.

The only thing I've admitted to in this thread is my belief that the kind of people who buy the whole "Obama = socialist" nonsense are typically the same type of people who are ripe for the picking for people like Beck, and I would *love* to get in on that gravy train. You can disagree with me if you like. I don't care. It's no skin off my nose. The world is full of easy targets and while this lot might not be the most gullible, to me, they are right up there. Christian Fundies are at the top of the list, which is why guys like Robert Tilton made so much money with his televangelism -- however, that's one line I personally would not cross, likely because I am too superstitious to take advantage of someone's religion. Someone's politics, on the other hand.... that's a different story.

I wouldn't hesitate to sell Beck's snake oil. And I wouldn't feel bad about it for a minute. He's an entertainer, nothing more.

As far as my home theater goes, it's "real." This conversation is not. This conversation is like a bad egg fart after late morning brunch --it clears the room and draws a lot of attention, but amounts to nothing substantial, except perhaps the need to purchase Beano or alter one's diet, speaking of which, maybe it's time for a new years resolution to stop breaking wind on AVS. Given that any politically motivated comment made on an AV dedicated forum is tantamount to breaking wind, I'd say you and I are both guilty of reeking up the joint. I'll stop if you will.

Or better yet, maybe a mod will lock the thread and prevent all of us from reeking it up from this point forward. And hopefully we are provided with a moist towelette.

hey gremmy, calm down, don't take it personal, it's just a forum, no one owes it to anyone to explain their political beliefs here.

Oppopioneer How long do we give Reaganomics to start helping out the lower and middle class? It's been going on for almost 30 years now and all that has happened is the rich have gotten massively rich, the middle class has gone nowhere and the lower class has gotten both larger and poorer.
Beck has been caught making so much crap up even his own viewers are now starting to not take him serious. How anyone can still call Fox news News is insane to me. They are actually using Onion news as real news now. Fox News should just announce that they are becoming one with the Christian New Network. That way Pat Robertson and Glenn Beck can team up and really tell us some crazy made up stories. George Soros is after kids and he is actually the Anti-Christ lol

Nothing. They're politics and are in violation of the forum rules.

My experience has been that no one posting about politics on an av site actually knows a rat's ass about politics ...

It does not look too cluttered to me! I think the economy is still a little depressed for too many homes in that price range to sell too quickly. I am in construction so I know how home sales have been for the past couple years. It is just now starting to pick up, and by summer it may start to turn around. The market was way over priced i would say.
Great!

And that is where I should have stopped. I just thought the article was a stab at a person and should have stuck to the AV point. Not starting a verbal war! Thats why I do not speak politics with customers. When asked "Who are you going to vote for?" I say, I have not decided as yet , to keep myself safe. LOL Happy New Year folks and to our AVS host!

I would have went with a huge monitor that can split screen for above the fireplace. If no show was being watched, then it could do a photo slideshow instead of his cluttered wall art. I also would have mounted some better/bigger monitors on an arm setup to clear off some desk space. I think I see a joystick there, so I'm going to assume he does flight similators or something.
