I borrowed a homemade screen from a friend this weekend to show a movie in my backyard for some kids. It was 10' tall by 20' wide. The frame was made out of electrical conduit and the screen was some material with grommets around the outside tied to the frame by bunjee cord. The bunjee cord was one long piece - it was a Harbor Freight cargo net that was just unraveled. We had a blast and I want to re-create it so we can do it more often.
My friend that made it said he couldn't remember where he bought the material for the screen, but he said it was the material used for making the back of curtains and it cost him about $40. He said you have to buy it from the manufacturer so you can get it before they cut it down to the size of a fabric bolt (about 6')
I have been searching all over this and other forums and can't find any reference to this stuff. (I keep getting threads about the curtains people put on the wall next to the screen) Does anyone know what this fabric is or where I can buy it?
