Is water not an issue for the speaker wire & connections to the speakers? I've noticed that most have a 5-way connection that will accept bar wire, banana clips, etc. Is there no danger of water getting to the connection? Nothing that will go back to the receiver? I bought the one's from MonoPrice - partly because the connection seemed to be easily insulated by various means, since the wire doesn't connect directly to the speaker as most others would.

I used heavy guage landscape lighting wire and attached banana plugs to the ends for connecting to the speaker. I've left mine out all season for for 5 years now and not had any issues.
