I would like to purchase a projector and screen that can be used at a public pool during daylight hours and that could also be used as an outdoor theater at night for public viewing(offering great theater experience.
I have no knowledge in this area nor do I know if what I am asking for is even possible. Please help

Finding a projector that can be used in daylight will be nearly impossible or at least EXTREMELY expensive.

Since you say you have no knowledge of these things, have you considered that there are licensing issues with public showing of movies? You can't just show movies in public (whether or not you charge a fee) without the risk of fines.
