Hey folks, newbie in need of a reality check here.
I'm working with a group on a location theatre play. I will be mixing video live during the play. My previous idea for the video setup failed as the old televisions could not overcome the brightness outside. Now I'd like some input on my next idea.
I want to use rear projection on a sheet in an open door. It's alright if the video is a bit blurry, the concept allows for that (it's mental images of a confused character). The room I'm projecting from is fairly dark and can be made almost completely dark. The doorway is never in full sunlight, always shadow, but the yard it opens up on could be if the weather is like that.
Due to limited budget and because the door needs to be an entrance and exit as well a high-end screen or a DIY one that cannot be moved is not an option. I will know tomorrow what kind of beamer I can borrow, but I'm hoping for a 5k+ lumens shorttrack. Could this work?
Thanks in advance,
